In 1984, Mike Moylan had the skills to play soccer at a high level, but he didn’t have the shoes. Seeking a way for his footwear to match his ambitions, he, along with his high school classmates, developed the idea for what would become SOCCER.COM. The project was simple, but ambitious: deliver the best gear in the game to U.S.-based soccer players who previously had to travel to Europe to find it.
